A Bright Start: Bringing Smiles to Ikotun, Lagos

 

In June 2023, the Volta Drive team embarked on a mission to make a difference in the lives of young minds at a community primary school in Ikotun, Lagos. The joy that radiated from the pupils as they received academic materials and tote bags was both heartwarming and inspiring. Knowing that we could contribute to their education by providing essential supplies to approximately 50,000 children filled our hearts with gratitude.

 

Lighting Up Lives at Bethesda Home

September 1, 2023, marked a significant day as the Volta team revisited the Bethesda Home for the visually impaired in Mushin, Lagos. The impact of our previous donation of magnetic charging cables had already been felt, transforming the charging experience for residents. It was a testament to the power of small changes that make a big difference.

A Heartfelt Gift: 197L Chest Freezer

 

During this visit, the team had a heartfelt surprise in store—a generous gift of a 197L chest freezer. The joy and gratitude that filled the room were tangible, knowing that this freezer would contribute to the comfort and well-being of the residents. Preserving food and ensuring access to fresh meals became a reality, thanks to the generosity of those who support the Volta Drive mission.

A Second Visit, Another Generous Gift

The story continued on September 8, 2023, as the Volta team returned to Bethesda Home with yet another impactful gift—a brand-new 3.5kV generator. The students, dressed in their finest attire, welcomed the team with open hearts and exuberant smiles. This additional gesture was a symbol of our commitment to creating lasting change and improving the lives of those we touch.
