What a joke, I’ve been supporting your IndieGogo campaigns from the start. I accepted the XL because it provided PD but to now have a third standard is ridiculous. Do you have a plan for people to send in their old cables/tips to upgrade for new ones?
Your selling point was one cable to charge multiple devices but now I need three cables plugged in. I reckon over the last 12 or 18 months I’ve bought about 15-20 cables and heaps of tips for all my devices for me and my family. The only way to upgrade is to replace everything, which is cost prohibitive.
Great product which I can’t speak highly enough of but I’ll be telling everyone about this caveat- the company needs to continue producing new products to generate sales and it will most likely be incompatible with what you buy now. This may be an unavoidable technological requirement but your existing customers will feel duped if you can’t find a way to look after them.

SUPER disappointed that the Volta 1.0 tips aren’t compatible. Even Apple wouldn’t do that to the people who made them successful. If you implemented a program that gives 1.0 loyalists free 2.0 tips, that might be your saving grace… Until then, I feel taken advantage of!
